NJ SORA Portal is an independent directory of New Jersey instructor and training listings. Some profiles are unclaimed or incomplete, so check current NJSP approval and class details before enrolling.
The Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) requires every security professional in New Jersey to complete certified training. Yet finding an approved instructor has historically been fragmented, confusing, and opaque.
We built NJ SORA Portal to solve that. Our directory helps students browse instructor profiles by county and training type. Listing information may be incomplete; confirm credentials, dates and pricing before paying.
Instructors can claim a profile and add current training dates, pricing, location and contact details.

A directory profile is not proof of current NJSP approval. Verify the instructor’s status with NJSP and report inaccurate listings to us.

NJ SORA Portal is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) or any government agency. We aggregate publicly available information about NJSP-approved instructors to help students and professionals find training more easily.
