SORA training requires full attendance to qualify for certification. This is a New Jersey State Police requirement, not a discretionary policy. Please plan accordingly and ensure you can commit to the entire class duration before registering.

  • 24-hour initial classes typically span 2-3 consecutive days
  • 8-hour renewal classes are completed in a single day
  • For Zoom classes: camera on, mic available, quiet workspace required
  • Early departure or excessive breaks will result in incomplete status

Refund Policy

Refund Policy

  • 72+ hours before class: Full refund available upon request
  • 24-72 hours before class: 50% refund or free reschedule to the next available session
  • Less than 24 hours / no-show: No refund — however, you may reschedule to a future class for a reduced fee at the instructor's discretion

Refund requests should be directed to Matthew Lebow. Processing times may vary. The NJSP application fee ($75) and fingerprinting fee ($68.98) are paid directly to the state and IdentoGo respectively — these are non-refundable by the instructor.

  • Student rescheduling: Contact Matthew Lebow at least 24 hours before your class to move to a different date. One reschedule per registration at no additional charge.

  • Instructor-initiated cancellations: Full refund or guaranteed seat in the next class — your choice
  • Weather or emergency closures: Class will be rescheduled at no cost to students
