24-Hour SORA Training in New Jersey<\/h2>\n

The Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) requires all aspiring security guards in New Jersey to complete a 24-hour certification course<\/strong> with an NJSP-approved instructor. Donald Nelsen Jr<\/strong> offers this armed and unarmed SORA class<\/strong> in the Manahawkin<\/strong> area, with options for both online and in-person attendance.<\/p>\n

Since 2007, SORA training has been mandatory for all contract security positions throughout the state. This class prepares you for the certification exam and qualifies you for both armed and unarmed security roles.<\/p>\n

How This Class Is Delivered<\/h2>\n

Training is available in two formats to suit your needs:<\/p>\n

💻 Virtual \/ Zoom Class:<\/strong> Join from anywhere in New Jersey using your laptop, tablet, or phone. The class is live and interactive \u2014 not pre-recorded. You’ll need a stable internet connection and your camera must stay on for the full 24 hours, as required by NJSP policy.<\/p>\n
