SORA Renewal Process — Step by Step
Step 1: Submit Renewal Application with NJSP
Log in to eapps.njsp.org as a “Returning Applicant”. If you’ve lost your login, call the Private Detective Unit at (609) 633-9352. Submit your renewal application and pay the $80.87 fee.
Step 2: Take This 8-Hour Renewal Course
Complete the full 8-hour refresher training with Gregory Demeter. Your SORA license must still be active (not expired) to qualify for the renewal class.
Step 3: Complete Fingerprinting (if required)
Depending on your renewal cycle, you may need to complete updated fingerprinting through IdentoGo.
